Introduction
Every reconstruction project begins with a question.

"What footage can be added?"

"What version of this story deserves to exist?"
For CUTSMITH, reconstruction has never been about making films longer.
It has never been about adding scenes simply because they exist.
It has never been about changing a film to satisfy personal preference.
Instead, reconstruction is an attempt to preserve narrative continuity, restore missing context, explore alternate material, and present stories in the most complete form possible while respecting the identity of the original work.
Dhurandhar Saga represents the next chapter in that philosophy.
Why Dhurandhar?
Throughout the years, CUTSMITH projects have focused on stories that naturally lend themselves to reconstruction.

Why "Saga"?
The term "Saga" is not being used simply for marketing.
It reflects the scale and design of the narrative itself.
The story spans:

The narrative constantly moves between intimate character drama and large-scale geopolitical events.

What Makes This Different From Kill Bill?
The Kill Bill projects were built around:

Dhurandhar presents a different challenge.
Its greatest strength is not necessarily additional footage.
Its greatest strength is narrative architecture.
The reconstruction potential comes from understanding the story's structure, relationships, chronology, and emotional continuity.
In many ways, Dhurandhar may prove to be a more complex narrative project than any previous CUTSMITH reconstruction.
Long-Term Vision
The ultimate objective is simple.
To create the most complete version of the story possible.
Not the longest version.
Not the flashiest version.
Not the most heavily altered version.
The most complete version.
A version that preserves the emotional, narrative, and cinematic identity of the original work while exploring every legitimate opportunity for restoration, continuity enhancement, and narrative completeness.

Chapter Numbering Note
The original chapter cards in Part 2 contain source-burned numbering.
To preserve image quality and avoid unnecessary visual manipulation,
the original chapter cards have been retained.

As the creator of DHURANDHAR : THE EPIC SAGA, I want to make one thing clear: I am not affiliated with the filmmakers, studio, or the petition itself. I am simply a fan and a film reconstruction enthusiast who tries to preserve and present stories in the most complete form possible using publicly available material.
My reconstruction exists because a definitive official edition does not currently exist. If one day an official Director's Cut, Extended Cut, or definitive version is released, that would be a victory for every fan of the film.
In fact, even if such a release were to make my own project unnecessary, I would be happier knowing that audiences finally have access to the most complete official version of the story. The goal has never been ownership. The goal has always been preservation, completeness, and giving viewers the best possible experience.
This petition is ultimately for the fans. More footage, more context, restored scenes, creative intent preserved, and a definitive edition that can be enjoyed for years to come.
