Introduction
The Race Saga is a CUTSMITH Preservation Edition that brings together the first two Race films into one continuous cinematic experience. While originally released as separate installments, both films share a common world built around deception, shifting alliances, revenge, and psychological manipulation. This project presents those interconnected stories as a unified saga while preserving the identity and style of the original films.
Rather than restructuring the narrative or introducing unnecessary alterations, the objective is to improve continuity between both entries through careful editorial reconstruction. Every transition is designed to feel natural, allowing the story to flow seamlessly from one chapter to the next while maintaining the pacing, suspense, and unpredictable nature that define the franchise.
Every editorial decision follows the CUTSMITH philosophy of Preservation Over Alteration, Continuity Over Novelty, and Invisible Editing. The goal is not to create a different version of the films, but to provide the most cohesive and immersive presentation possible without compromising their original cinematic identity.
As a released preservation project, Race Saga represents the current definitive CUTSMITH presentation. Any future revisions would only be considered if meaningful preservation opportunities arise through improved source material or official restorations.
